• Pack strategically.
• Label all boxes on all sides.
• Purchase a high quality lock.
• Don’t leave items unprotected.
• Do not store perishables that can spoil.
• Do not store hazardous or combustible materials.
• Tightly seal all boxes to prevent dust from entering.
• Place frequently accessed items towards the front of your unit.
• Do not store anything flammable such as paint or other chemicals.
• The floor of the unit may be wet at some point. Use wooden pallets.
• Get storage insurance. Contact our office for our insurance recommendation.
• Drain any fluid prior to storing such as snow blowers, lawnmowers, and other equipment.
• Break down all large items such as bed frames, tables, and large furniture. Don’t forget to keep all the parts such as screws together with the item.
